This is an exciting new opportunity to be an influential part of developing strategies around creating greater efficiencies within the administrative function on a growing Behavioral Health team. You will be responsible for managing administrative support with a focus on establishing a formal structure that enables the department to reach annual goals. You excel in project management and liaison between the department and VNS Health at large regarding compliance and company-wide initiatives. You'll also take lead on identifying and solving administrative needs by developing solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, along with facilitating processes and systems training for administrative staff as needed.

What You Will Do
Conducts needs analysis regarding administrative functions and identifies solutions in collaboration with department leadership needed to create greater efficiencies and upskilling opportunities for administrative staff.
Facilitates cross program training for administrative staff, supporting staff in effectively working in administrative functions across multiple teams/programs.
Manages/coordinates departmental projects including but not limited to organization-wide initiatives and compliance activities. Prepares timelines/project plans for management review for departmental projects and keeps staff informed of due dates/deliverables. Follows-up with staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and keeps management informed of status.
Manages and plans daily departmental activities, supports adequate administrative staff coverage and develops/implements workflow processes to ensure smooth and effective administrative operations.
Orients new staff on how to use VNS Health information technology, Workday, and other job-related systems including but not limited to the clinical Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or other related discipline or equivalent work experience, required
Work Experience:
Minimum five years of progressive administrative, business or office management experience, required
Minimum one year of supervisory experience or experience in a lead capacity, preferred
Advanced technological skills including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, required
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, required
Experience with Microsoft Teams, and Workday, preferred
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, required
Experience with healthcare terminology and administration systems, preferred
