100% Remote (EST Hours Preferred)

06+ Months (Possible Extension)

Job Description:

  • Responsible for all aspects of delivering the corporate technology architecture strategy to improve the company's advantage in the market place.
  • Has accountability for the tactical solutions and strategic architecture for the firm and works with the enterprise business architects, application architects, database architects and technology architects in deploying technology solutions. Responsible for the delivery of the enterprise architect team.
  • Managerial responsibilities include leading recruitment efforts and managing and developing teams to maximize their collective contributions and allocating resources to projects. Motivates managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth.
  • Manage, forecast, and approve the enterprise operating budget for architecture. Leads and guides the defining of all architecture for all enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Ensures high quality delivery of the company's architecture and design services.
  • Ensures that all dimensions of architecture are aligned across the enterprise. Ensures appropriate funding and resource allocation for research, definition and implementation of architecture governance and design disciplines for business solutions. Partners with technology leaders to promotes common architecture designs, methodology, standards and practices across the enterprise.
  • Leads recruitment efforts and manages and develops teams with an eye toward delivering leading edge architectural solutions.
  • Promotes and develops a strong management team who can motivates lower level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth at all levels.
  • Ensures that the architect teams stays abreast of leading edge innovations and trends and acquires new tools as appropriate.
  • Works with external technology architects and internal business stakeholders to develop strategic solutions.
  • Manages, forecasts, and approves department operating budget and ensure the next budget supports the approved business plan. Direct resource allocation for the department.

Minimum 6-8 years experience managing architectural teams. Contributes to the achievement of the enterprise architect team objectives. Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 15 + years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management and administrative experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Banking Preferred especially if Control-M Administration exp is missing.
