KCI is looking for a motivated Scientist in Training to join our Water Resources team in Newark, DE. Typical work assignments include storm drain inventory and inspection, wet weather sampling, stream monitoring, illicit discharge detection and elimination, and GIS analysis. Most assignments are in support of stormwater permitting requirements. The Scientist in Training will receive training and hands-on experience working in teams of two under the supervision of other experienced scientists. A successful candidate will have good organizational skills, an ability to work in the field for a large majority of the work week in all weather conditions, a desire to learn and grow strong technical skills, and a willingness to be part of a 15-person team of scientists that work together towards achieving a single goal of meeting our client's needs.
