Provides integrative medicine services for patients using a variety of resources. Manage and mentor Healing Touch Volunteers, including but not limited to, scheduling, facilitating practice sessions, reviewing technique, this position will also work to support employee population to provide stress reduction resources and assist in the creation of a healing environment and involvement in wellness committee and initiatives.

Responsibilities
- 1. Provides complementary services to enhance patient experience:
- 1.1 Upon referral from clinical staff, visits with patients who display signs/symptoms of pain, anxiety, nausea, insomnia, constipation and exhaustion.
- 2. Identifies programs/services to benefit staff:
- 2.1 Works with clinical departments, Spiritual Care, Employee Relations, Social Work, etc. to identify stress reduction and employee satisfaction resources (Oasis model).
- 3. Serves as a trainer for Integrative Medicine Services volunteer programs:
- 3.1 Assists volunteer Services Coordinator with training of volunteers.
- 4. Serves as a leader in area of complementary medicine services:
- 4.1 Researches best practices for healing environment/integrative medical services to determine appropriateness for YNHH.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred. Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP) Required.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of two years experience providing complimentary integrative services to individuals, preferably in a institutional/healthcare setting.
LICENSURE
CHTP required. Certification in mediation and/or other mind-body therapies, Sound Healing preferred.
