Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Supervisor of the Center for Health and Wellness, assesses and prescribes exercise program for participants and educates participants on healthy lifestyles. Leads clinical prevention exercise programs for special populations and instructs specialized boxing for Parkinson s program. Assist in program development with home based exercises and enhancement of current specialized programs. Manages participant progress through assessments and re-assessments and prescribes discharge exercise plans.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors or Master s Degree in Exercise Physiology.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS Certification required. (American Heart Association)
