General - Federal BDE

  • Develop, grow, and manage strategic relationships within Federal Agencies and agency-specific partners
  • Identify, position for, pursue, and win new business opportunities
  • Provide thought leadership to the evolution of capabilities and solutions offerings
  • Grow and manage strategic partner relationships
  • Provide input to strategic planning
  • Rapidly learn about the Application Platform and be able to communicate strategically with potential clients to identify requirements and propose how our solutions will meet their business needs
  • Represent Platform Solutions Division and its solution in prospective client meetings, at conferences, and other marketing events
  • Support the proposal development activities by ensuring a full understanding of client business needs, budget constraints, and competitive positioning
  • Utilize superior oral and written communication skills to develop new business opportunities
  • Adhere to predetermined metrics; overachieve sales goals

Requirements:

  • Experience in marketing and selling enterprise or case management software in one or more of the following categories: Case Management, Application Development, Business Process Management, Document Management
  • Federal industry knowledge in one of the following
    • Human Capital
    • Law Enforcement
    • Health Care
    • Finance/Contracts/Accounting
    • Federal Agency Domain Expertise
  • Experience that includes client relationship management, account growth/business development
  • Ability to lead and manage proposal efforts
  • Strong organizational, communications, and leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
  • At least 3-5 years experience with selling complex software solutions to Federal clients.
  • Obvious passion for selling along with strong people skills
  • Demonstrable experience with over-achieving sales goals
  • Technically adept and experienced with web technologies
  • BS/BA college degree very strongly preferred
  • Prior sales methodology training is preferred

State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements

Salary will generally fall between $91,713 - $100,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
