Position Details:

Title : Java Developer

Location : NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience on Core Java , Multi-Threading, Spring Framework, KDB, Unix, Shell script, Relational database
• Development on low latency / high frequency Fixed Income eTrading Platform.
• In-depth knowledge in Middleware Messaging (publish/subscribe, JMS / MQ / Solace / Kafka / Tibco RV etc).
• Expertise in memory management
• Process monitoring and observability
• Work experience in code management in Git/Bitbucket
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are must.
• Knowledge in python is a plus.
• Ability to work with senior trader/sales on rapid front-office development and to respond to critical production problem
• Working knowledge of the Fixed Income products - Rates Products are preferred
• Ability to communicate and act professionally with IT staff and business clients while under strict deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 7+ years of working experience
